Weatherite Aluminium Solutions LTD, part of the Weatherite Group of companies, has completed its largest project to date at a major distribution centre.
Following over a year of works, the brand-new warehouse facility (pictured) built on a 16-acre site in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, is impressively large measuring a whopping 236,250 sq ft.
Weatherite’s new state-of-the-art modern frontage spans the building and includes a huge array of works. The contract, worth £1.5M, combines the installation of 1999 m2 Ribbon Windows; 490m2 of Curtain Walling; 222m2 of Canopy cladding and Brise Soleil; three Wind Breaker Curtain Walling Screens at 2400mm x 4400mm (11m2 each); and 32m2 of Clear Fence glazing.

Weatherite was also asked to carry out additional works on the site including the supply of a large glass canopy, as well as a brise soleil to the courtyard which completes the new, giant warehouse facility.
